"Free" a poem
Oct. 19th, 2014 07:30 amI had an intention in mind when I started this poem. It went in a direction I had not planned. Here is that attempt:
"Free"
By = Pyrayton Svaenohr
Crawling worm, invade my body,
Slither down my throat.
Curl in my stomach warm,
Take my body for your form!
My flesh to be your cote!
Oh parasite, curl round my spine,
Like a coiled snake.
Control my brain,
For this world is pain,
I am yours to take!
So much does this world hurt,
I so desire this;
Please steal my will,
My mind to still,
Please blank it out with bliss!
Or maybe we could share it,
Perhaps you are Tok-Ra?
Lay in my head
Like it's a bed
Of soft and gentle straw.
My body's a jalopy,
But mayhaps you can repair?
Make it stronger,
And last longer,
No more to struggle to draw in air.
No more to be forever down,
Nor to worry what I eat;
No IBS
Or other BS,
You could do that feat!
So, sentient symbiote,
I ask you once again:
I beg of thee,
Come set me free,
Take away this pain.

I was... surprised by this. Mainly because I was unaware I was in that mood.
